Passion for music and winter sports are the ingredients that will be united to Dolomiti Ski Jazz festival, whose sixteenth edition is scheduled from 9th to 17th March in Val di Fiemme. Sixteen touching concerts will be performed in the majestic surroundings of the Dolomites.

Nine mountain huts are the setting: Dolomiti Ski Jazz brings music high and invites you to stages on the ski slopes, in order to let you merge into a breath-taking union between the emotions of Afro-American sounds and the fast rhythm of downhill skiing.

The daily concerts of the festival are all free of charge and will take place in the most popular meeting points of skiers. Here you can listen to high-voltage funky-rock of the American JUICEBOX; the  day-dreamer LONDON PROJECT band of the guitarist Luca Boscagin, with Troy Miller and Rick Leon James, both former musician of Amy Winehouse; from Czech Republic, the singer EVA EMINGEROVA; but also ALMA SWING quintet, the organist grooves by ROBERTO GORGAZZINI, LIFETIME quartet of the drummer Mauro Beggio, Inside STRAIGHT QUARTET with the wind instruments Markus and Ivan Moser and Squartet with the trumpeter Berni Brugger.

In the evenings, in the theatres of the valley, you can listen to the most prestigious names of the festival like the American KENNY GARRET, the last of the great and talented saxophonists launched by Miles Davis.
There's no doubt about the charming and fascinating sounds of the pianist KEVIN HAYES, a musician with great expressive inspirations that also Sonny Rollins and Pat Metheny appreciate; LIVING COLTRANE quartet of the saxophonist Stefano ‘Cocco’ Cantini; BEST BLUES POWER TRIO trio of the guitarist and singer Maurizio Bestetti, who will present his new album The Walkin’ Man.
